Welcome to Rise and Shine Retrievers.

We are a small, family run, retriever kennel located in Barnstead, NH. We produce good looking, hard driving Labrador and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers with excellent temperament and a desire to hunt.

You won’t find any brood bitches here. All of our dogs hunt upland and waterfowl and run hunt tests during the spring/summer. We are hunters first and foremost.

Running UKC HRC events, and the occasional NAHRA or AKC hunt test (former NAHRA & UKC/HRC judge), allow us to take the dogs “hunting” year round. All of our dogs are trained by us, without using an E-collar. Our hunt test titled dogs actually go hunting!

If your sportsman club or organization wants to host a retrieving demonstration or a training seminar, give us a call, we’d be happy to set something up for you. If you already have 4 legged friend and are looking for help with training, we can help you there also.
